EXHIBITIONS

Transition: A Series

The Blue Orchid, New Haven CT

December 16th, 2022 to January 6th, 2023

The theme behind this exhibition is "Transition". Not only does this refer to my own personal trans journey, but it's about the whole concept of transition as a whole. A change to become better. These pieces are all about changing that perspective that people have on the transgender community. Trans should not be this taboo topic that people are uncomfortable talking about. I want my work to create dialogue and force people to see the realness behind my community. The first section of this exhibition focuses on the hardships the trans community faces while the second half of my exhibit turned those hardships into a more positive outlook.

TDOR Art Exhibition

New Haven Pride Center, New Haven CT

November 14th, 2022 - November 21st, 2022

This exhibition was to honor Transgender Day of Remembrance by showcasing my trans awareness artwork that I’ve dedicated a big part of my career to. As a trans photographer and designer, I find beauty in capturing meanings with my artwork. I started taking photos in 2020, the year I started my transition, and have since then found a passion for raising awareness for the trans community with my work. Each of these pieces is dedicated to bringing light to the trans experience.

Out of Body Art Exhibit

Five Points Annex Gallery - Torrington, CT

November 10th, 2023 - November 30th, 2023

“An art exhibit that explores the “phenomenon in which a person perceived the world from a location outside their physical body.”

As an artist, my creative expression is often a reflection of my own trans experience. So in this exhibition, I present a collection of self portraits that invite viewers to navigate the world from the trans perspective, allowing them to have a deeper understanding of self-identity beyond the physical body.

Transcendence: A Series

The Blue Orchid, New Haven CT

November 17th, 2023 - December 17th, 2023

“As a trans artist, I’ve devoted my career to amplifying the voices of the trans community through my photography. In this exhibition, I aim to showcase the beauty of the trans experience through my editorial portraits, each piece telling a distinct story. I hope for this series to showcase both the resilience and the joy of the trans journey by turning trans stories into art.”

Frames of Joy

Milford Pride “Trans Joy” Art Show - Firehouse Gallery

March 15th, 2024 - March 30th, 2024

I present a collection of editorial portraits that capture the joy and euphoria of a variety of different trans people that I’ve met over the past few years. I spent the time to listen, learn their stories, and create a unique concept to capture the raw beauty of their journey. Each portrait is carefully placed in a distinct vintage frame to serve as a visual testament to the diversity of the trans experience. While our journeys may differ, one unifying element for our community is the profound joy found in authenticity.
